I am very excited to announce that on Thursday 1 October I’ll be offering expert style advice and showcasing my selection of the Hobbs autumn/winter 2015 collection at their Covent Garden store. Tickets cost £5 and all the proceeds go to the fantastic charity Smartworks. The event has been selling well, but I know that 35 extra tickets have just been released; to apply, all you need to do is sign up for the Hobbs Together scheme HERE. Other Hobbs branches will be offering the expert style session on the night and selling signed copies of Style Forever. And there are plans for me to curate another event before Christmas, so I’ll keep you posted about that.
I’ve just been to Hobbs HQ today and it’s not all business suits and court shoes, the autumn collection is looking really strong. There are some lovely standout pieces: lots of beautiful coats, including the camel Owen cape (above) and a gorgeous teal faux fur number, I’ve also got my eye on the silk blouses and beautiful tweeds. Hobbs shoes are always fab, obviously I’m into the mannish brogues and velvet monk shoes, but the Ageless Rocker in me also likes the seventies-inspired ankle boots in teal velvet or snakeprint. And the Marianne Faithfull fedora, of course.
Here are some more of my favourite things:
