News of a book-signing event on International Women’s Day
On International Women’s Day (Wednesday 8 March) I will be giving a talk and signing copies of Style Forever at the lovely Gudrun Sjoden store in Covent Garden. Over her 40 years in the industry, Gudrun has remained committed to environmental projects and human rights and has supported female garment workers around the globe. I admire Gudrun’s stance and her support for womankind. And I am delighted to be doing something on International Women’s Day. Here’s a quick preview of my edit of the spring/summer 2017 collection:
I’ve had a bit of a (whisper it) Malware problem over the last few days. Very frustrating but thankfully all sorted now. Apologies if you have clicked on That’s Not My Age and experienced strange pop-ups or a shouty American man telling you to call Apple. That’s Not My Doing.
The event starts at 6pm and as well as my book-signing there will be refreshments, discount on the evening and a Gudrun Goodie Bag. The butik’s address is HERE. Hope you can make it.
Thanks Alyson for letting us know about software glitch. I was worried about messages to reconfigure my operating system which I ignored. Like the black and white matelot striped dress and top against the greenery of 2017 background. An interesting way to blend monochrome with this year’s fresh foliage colour. One I could emulate in my own wardrobe.
Presumably the book signing is for your original book and not volume two. Would like to have attended but it is unlikely.
