Easy autumn style – and another jumpsuit
There I was recovering from the lurgy and thinking that a few days impromptu digital detox was not a bad thing, when this site went down with a bug. I’m not sure what’s more unpleasant, sinusitis or blocked-from-the-blog mania, both make you feel like your head is about to whistle like an old kettle. Anyhow. One of the things I was contemplating from my sickbed, was the power of the jumpsuit (the first thing I grabbed on the rare occasions when I could be bothered to get dressed, last week).
Not so long ago, loungewear champions Hush invited me to host a brunch event with a group of their lovely customers. You can just about make me out, in a Hush jumpsuit, on the left of the picture below. I’ve worn this all-in-one, all the time. And now it’s available in burgundy; the perfect autumn update. The things I like about it are: the lovely soft rayon fabric, the elasticated waist with a a faux drawstring fastening which prevents the entire thing ending up on the floor when you go to the loo and the fact that the legs are cuffed at the bottom, like track pants, and go with a variety of different shoes (ankle boots, trainers, pointed flats).
At the brunch, I talked about Ageless Style and ran through the autumn collection. Here are a few of my favourite autumn pieces from Hush:
Jumpsuits tend to be too long for me, but I do love that biker jacket!
