Cane and Able.

Now, I’m no expert on walking sticks (what my American followers call canes), though I used one once when I broke an ankle and the hospital had run out of crutches. It was about as much use as a broom handle. I wobbled about for days. So, I do appreciate that when it comes to something as important as a walking aid, good design and superior technology are key.
If I had to use one again, I’d go straight to cane-makers OMHU. Using birch wood for the handle, bicycle-grade aluminium for the shaft and hiking boot material for the tip – their sticks are the perfect blend of form and function, and look pretty
snazzy if you want my opinion. It’s no surprise that the New York-based company asked Ari Seth Cohen, champion of Advanced Style to shoot a campaign using some of his gorgeous friends (see the lovely Lynn Dell above). Proving that style, grace and mobility are important whatever your age.
