Pin-Up Girls
There are some things that should be avoided at Christmas, like most of my relatives, Oxford Street and novelty jumpers – even if they are by Stella McCartney. In order to bring comfort and joy to the wearer, grown-up knitwear should be simple and elegant. Which is why I like the new Pin Up range from Benetton. Special figure-flattering technology (that’s hidden seams, between you and me) makes the most of womanly curves. Think proper fifties sweater girls, or Nigella in a form-fitting cardi on the front of her latest Christmas cookbook. Knitwear that doesn’t need a sense of humour.

Nice sweaters my only question would be do they also cling round the middle and emphasise areas you might not want to.
The Pin Up range looks wonderful on these svelte bodies. I have the Nigella breasts that unfortunately are at war with gravity and a body which would resemble hers…if it were put under a giant magnifying glass!
Chic & Elizabeth – I agree. This kind of fitted sweater doesn't suit every figure type and those young whippersnapper models are super-svelte!

I love knits that flatter me. The ones pictured here wouldn't work, but they look lovely on these ladies.
