Finding new ways to wear old clothes
Much as I like a minimalist uniform, it pays to throw an outlier (or two) into the mix. But I must ‘fess up. Though I love the colour of these dirty pink trousers, I’ve only worn them a couple of times. This ‘shunted to the back of the wardrobe’ situation needs addressing, time to make the most of my fancy pants. The snazzy pyjama-style shirt is old H&M, it’s one of the only polyester items of clothing I own (apart from sportswear, but I’m working on that). The 1970s-inspired, retro-tastic print looks a bit Prada-esque – or at least that what I thought when I bought it. And I’m into doubling up; pairing two similar garments, of slightly different sizes, together. Here, that’s two shirts but soon it’ll be two cardigans or two jackets.
