Style made simple: the blazer and jeans
Can you tell how happy I am to be back in my all-time favourite outfit: the go-everywhere blazer and jeans? Similar to finding your tribe and hanging out with like-minded people – finding the clothes that are on your side will help you feel at ease. The jacket section of my wardrobe remained largely undisturbed over the year of not-going-anywhere. What a relief, then, for a Jacket Junkie, like me, to be back in business. This photo is from one of my recent Daily Telegraph Ageless Style columns – and I think it’s quite obvious how comfortable I am in this outfit. I look happier. I am content in my clothing. And surely, sartorially speaking, that’s what we all want? To feel relaxed, to feel top-notch.
