Being a lifelong denim lover, I’m always on the lookout for new ways to introduce a little indigo. Longer and less boxy than a traditional western denim jacket this J.Crew work wear style (available HERE) feels like a more versatile, user-friendly option. And, Ines de la Fressange always has a ‘coverall’ in her Uniqlo collection (available HERE)…

Now that the big coats are off (at least for the time being), it’s all about layering. While it’s not quite the same as the pyjama-style below, proportion-wise the grown-up denim jacket could be layered up, like this:

This belted safari style from Frame Denim (available HERE) proves there are plenty of ways to do denim. Perfect with palazzo pants or a knee length pleated metallic skirt – and very seventies Yves Saint Laurent.
