Bohemian fashion brand East is offering one lucky That’s Not My Age reader the chance to win a voucher worth £200 to spend. I know, I’m spoiling you. Thank me later. I popped into East’s Covent Garden store on a recce yesterday and there are loads of lovely things. Hand embroidered cottons and silks, kaftans, kimonos, dresses, palazzo pants; this is the perfect place for a spot of summer layering. The scarves and accessories are fab, too. Though my default setting is Gentlewoman Style, there’s often an element of bohemian-hippy-punk. And an embroidered tunic or peasant top is so easy to wear with jeans, flat sandals and a boyfriend jacket.

  1. The city I live in has a bright modern town centre shopping mall in which, this month, NINE fashion stores closed – one being EAST. Rumours also that H&M will shortly follow suit. It’s hardly worth going to town now with the poor availability of clothes stores. Probably shoppers like me have caused the demise because I never buy English brands, only continental stuff. Where do you and your readers shop?

  2. I LOVE East clothing. I especially love the dresses, statement tops and summer knits. Just my style!

  3. I like East’s grown up style that to me would not look out of place in the wardrobes of Ines de la Fressange, Cindy Crawford, Jemima Khan and the elegant Duchess of Cornwall. Style without trying too hard!

  4. Thanks Alyson! They have lovely pieces,I’m always happy to find something new and unknown to me!

  5. Thankyou Alyson! These look perfect for an Aussie trying to be more stylish! I’ve entered the comp too. What a lovely prize! Love, Mimi xxx
