Ooh la la, Ines de la Fressange has set up shop on the Parisian Left Bank. And next time I visit the French capital, I’ll be making a bee-line from the Gare du Nord. The eponymous concept store sells own-label fashion, homewares and vintage: ‘I want gaiety, mixing: joyful jumble fashion and lifestyle,’ IdlF told French Elle,‘  It amuses me to see a can of sardines alongside a bag, sneakers posed next to a gold bracelet. In my view, all that is beautiful can coexist.’

The brand is also available online and the 57-year-old model and muse recently launched a regular newsletter La Lettre D’ Ines in conjunction with her friend the journalist Dominique Lionetts.

Ines de la Fressange, 24 rue de Grenelle (seventh arrondissement ).Tel: 01 45 48 19 06.

Opening hours: Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 19 pm.

  1. Nous avons tous besoin d’un peu d’ Ines! Further to The True Cost film I was reading the Daily Mail earlier (I know..). They have a piece on Wallis, some of the below the line comments are along the line of you can get it cheaper in X etc. It would be good if the DM would do a piece on the film.

  2. So excited that Ines is having another outing as a designer and boutique owner. I still have shoes from her collections from back in the early 90’s which I still adore. Can’t wait to visit her shop. My best friend lives right round the corner not to mention she’s a minute away from Bon Marche.
