Thank you, thank you, thank you – the happy news that I was one of the winners brightened my Covid-ridden, bed bound day considerably. Stay well everyone – this is No Fun at ALL!
-
Aargh – sorry to hear that Bev and hope you are feeling better. I only knew one person who had Covid in the first wave, many more this time.

The styles and colours are so stunning it’s hard to pick out just one out, but the green leather saddle bag (large size) is just beautiful and would give a such a pop of colour to all of the navy in my wardrobe. Maybe by spring it might even get a public outing! Thank you.

Gillian says:
What a fantastic offer from a company I would not otherwise have known about. If I were lucky enough to win, I would choose the handmade leather cross body bag in lilac grey. I love the simple lines – and the colour would tone with so many of my favourite clothes.
-
Kathy says:
Really beautiful bags, some so minimal and chic, and some so much fun. I think I’d choose the same as Alyson, the twist lock shopper in Borneo. It’s such a happy and unexpected color – would brighten up my very neutral wardrobe.
-
Camilla says:
Supporting small and sustainable brands is key this year..beautiful bags made to last and take on the patina of age. For that reason the dark green tote is my first choice followed by bright pillar box red. Neutrals not but pops of cheering colours.

What a gorgeous collection of styles and colours, and at fairly reasonable prices too.! I favour a red saddlebag style bag, as now I’m a bit older I don’t like carrying a heavy bag around. The shoppers are very tempting as well.
-
Elaine says:
I’m so happy this competition is open to people overseas! I am in Ireland, so not too far away. My pick is the leather shopper in Ivy.
-
Karen says:
What a wonderful selection of elegant bags. I love the classic shape of the hand made saddle bag (large size) and would choose the very luxurious oxblood shade as an accent for my silver grey coat.

Thanks for the opportunity and thank you so much for including international subscribers! The range of colours and styles leaves me spoilt for choice. However, I would be thrilled to win a Handmade Leather Shopper in Oxblood (with the Handmade Leather Twist Lock Shopper in Nile coming in a very close second). Either would give my spirits a lift every time we ventured out together – nothing quite like a gorgeous bag to put a spring in the step. Merry Christmas and wishing everyone a well behaved 2021!

Like Allyson, I am also drawn to the handmade twist lock shopper in fluorescent, Borneo yellow. I always love a pop of colour, and this bag fits the bill perfectly.
-
Kathryn says:
This really is such a fun giveaway! All of the bags are so lovely, but should I be chosen, I would like the handmade saddle bag in lavender grey, as it is the perfect Soft Summer color. That murky lavender grey complements every color in by minimalist wardrobe. The bonus is that has a nice long strap so I can use the bag sans hands.

Siobhan says:
Loving this offer. Such a great idea to cheer us all up as the news gets steadily worse. Feel like a kid in a sweet shop-so hard to choose just one but if I had to pick it would be the classic leather shoulder bag in Marsala Red or Green.
-
Susan says:
So many lovely colours! The city backpack in the emerald green would be my pick. Just need some ruby slippers and I could imagine being in the land of Oz!
-
Susanna says:
Wow, those are beautiful bags. When I was a child, I longed for a real leather satchel for school, so I would choose a bright red classic leather satchel for grown-up me. Fingers crossed!
-
Christina says:
Oh, I dream of the dark red one that (if I won it) would brighten up the long and dark winter up in Sweden. And it would perfectly match my lipstick. Thats not my age and Alison is truly a source for inspiration.

Patricia says:
Hi Alyson, thank you (and Zatchels) for opening this giveaway internationally. The bags are so lovely and the colours are amazing. If I were lucky enough to win, I would choose the Handmade Leather Tote Bag in Gingham (I just could not decide on a colour, so going with a ‘classic with a twist’ choice). Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
-
Pamela says:
while a gifted bag would be amazing I am just happy this give-a-way made me look at this brand. I never win anything so I imagine I will be purchasing the beautiful ivy green saddle bag 🙂
-
Beverly says:
I love the handmade leather clutch bag, British edit. It’s practical and cheerful and I can imagine wearing it over my red puffa, cross body, striding faff free. Loving the Zatchel!
-
Valerie says:
That Borneo yellow would brighten the grimmest of days. I want it sooooo badly! Merry Christmas anyway.
-

That Borneo yellow would brighten the dullest day. Practicality and cheerful elegance and totally desirable.

Twist lock shopper, to put all my goodies in, when we’re let out to shop again…as far as choice of colours go, what can I say, like picking out a favourite child. Impossible!
-
Jo says:
What a fantastic prize , beautiful bags made in the UK amazing ❤️ My choice would be the larger size city back pack in RED to take my lunch to work in
-
Helen says:
What a lovely treat!
I like the freedom offered by cross-body bags. I love the beautifully elegant lilac-grey coloured one. It would make me feel graceful and gorgeous. -
Jo says:
A City backpack plus in the bright green or red would get me and my lap top ready to return to my NHS job with adolescents struggling with eating disorders who may then even consider me trendy at 52 years of age….. ok it may take more than a satchel even one as nice as that
-
Sue says:
Hooray indeed! I kept looking at the brilliant choices and lovely colours and dithering, but I realised that I needed to make up my mind or risk missing the deadline….! My first choice therefore would be the 14.5″ handmade leather satchel in orange, or if that’s not available the Sugercube Plus in orange, or maybe the large saddlebag in orange. Yes, you’ve guessed it, orange is my new accent colour and sadly I don’t have an orange bag to brighten up my wardrobe. I’m hoping that 2021 will be a super year for us all, and winning one of these gorgeous bags would be a brilliant start to my year. Happy holidays to everyone!

Difficult to make a choice …. leather city backpack in oxblood

There is a poem that states that when the writer is an old woman she will wear purple. At the age of 64, my purple moment may be here and should I be lucky enough to win, a purple twist lock shopper would be a delight. These are very beautiful bags.

A great opportunity especially for international subscribers and followers – in my case, Canada. My choice after much personal debate would be a classic: the black, large sized, handmade leather saddle bag. It was a coin toss in the end with the pride tote bag. Thank you to Zatchels and you.

Hello Alice. This year I have tried to choose mostly presents for my friends from local shops (from lovely “For art’s sake” shop in Ealing ) so presents would be special and I could support small business. I want to thanks Zatchels’ company and you Alice for being so generous to your readers. All handbags are just beautiful and it’s difficult to choose one. However, I am drawn to the Luna leather bag in yellow ochre.
Happy New year to everyone. -

Oh all those gorgeous colours – a feast for the eyes! Apart from wanting virtually all of them on their website, I would choose a bright red, pillar box, happy red shoulder bag with that lovely chunky clasp. (Second greedy choice would be a bright green saddlebag). Third choice…fourth……..etc. etc. etc. So impossible to choose. ha ha.Now that would jolly up my day! Stay well all!
